A standalone test route for the interactive map proof of concept: the 10 provinces and 3 comarcas drawn from the prevalidated Panama ADM1 boundary data, with hover and click selection in every basemap mode. Three markers cover Panama City, Coronado, and Boquete, on top of the polygons. This page is intentionally not linked from the site navigation.

Provinces and comarcas of Panama
Select an area to highlight it on the map and zoom to its bounds. On desktop you can also hover or click a polygon directly. The link on each card leads to our guide to that area where one exists.
The map loads lazily and falls back to the location links below when JavaScript, WebGL, or the Mapbox token is unavailable.
